Review Wheel Detection Forum 2011

The first Wheel Detection Forum was a great success. More than 70 guests from 16 nations took the opportunity to gain information on current developments and trends concerning wheel detection systems and axle counters during the 1st Wheel Detection Forum.

The common exchange of experience between experts from different interest groups, for example operators, signalling and interlocking suppliers, and specialists from Frauscher Sensor Technology was evaluated as extremely profitable.

Participants Statements

Ing. Daniel Busanszky

Siemens AG Österreich, Austria

"Frauscher has once again managed to demonstrate their innovation impressively. I enjoyed the mix of lectures about the fundamentals and operating principles of inductive wheel sensors, interesting field reports from operators and the presentation of the new generation of axle counting FAdC. As a matter of course I will be attending the next Forum.”

Carlos Astor

ENYSE S.A, Spain

"I could make a number of new contacts and many interesting conversations. The individual presentations - both in terms of topics as well as the technical depth were interesting and informative. The whole event was perfectly organized - I'm very impressed by Frauscher."

Jan Miśkiewicz

PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., Poland

"This is my first time here in St. Marienkirchen and I am positively surprised about the development of the company, the pleasant atmosphere and the noticeable customer orientation. I find it very interesting, how Frauscher approaches on new or very specific customer requirements. It became clear that the customer orientation is actually lived here.”

Michael Kette

V+S Ingenieurgesellschaft, Germany

„Due to a lot of conversations with different participants – operators, producers of signalling technique and experts of Frauscher – this forum has broadened my horizon. For me I have beleaguered that wheel detection is much more than simply a basis for the track vacancy.
